i thought this long weekend was only particularly detrimental to my own mental and emotional health. but after reading my friends' blogs, i realised that they too had a tough time. the 'weekend syndrome' consistently makes its presence felt in all of us all the time...i wish it'd free us from its clutches one day. to my buds, school's back tmr...things will be better. *hugs*
i felt as if i was threading on a tightrope, feeling about for some sort of balance. it felt as if you were letting go of my hand that u used to hold so tightly, loosening those fingers, giving me the slip... groping around in the dark, i searched frantically for you...for your presence is reassuring and presents to me a warm, loving sense of security. but my hands only stroked the air around me, and i stumbled about clumsily, no longer falling into your embrace, but into the darkness that continued to loom. im going to walk the tightrope till its end. i will, because i want to.
